As you know Posh Retro is an advocate for social policy entrepreneurship and as part of our duty as a social entrepreneur we support Mission: Launch, Inc in efforts to help the formerly incarcerated with employment readiness through entrepreneurship and contributing to their clothing closet. This month they are a part of a crowd-funding campaign sponsored through Girl Tank with a goal of raising $50,000 by May 31st. What can you do? Click on this link and listen to the story of Laurin, a woman who while she should have been worrying about graduating from college was preparing to take her mother to prison to serve a sentence that would last over five years. Laurin would spend that time visiting her mother and coming up with an exit strategy on how to ensure her mother would be able to live her life again post prison. Mission: Launch Inc. realizes that 10,000 people come home each week from prison and most will go back within three years. These individuals are your every day soccer moms, your sister, your brother, your cousin, your co-worker, they are people.
